Donald Trump's campaign for US president, Elon Musk speaks up: Just to be very clear..

Amid rumours that he is financing Donald Trump campaign for US president, Elon Musk speaks up: Just to be very clear..

After meeting Donald Trump, who is looking for financial support to run for reelection, Elon Musk made it clear that he is not supporting any US presidential candidate. At their meeting, Trump and Republican contributors hoped to have a conversation. Musk announced via Twitter that he is not endorsing any political candidate in the next elections.

On Wednesday, Tesla CEO Elon Musk clarified that he is not supporting any of the US presidential contenders. This comes days after reports surfaced that Musk had met former Republican US President Donald Trump, who was purportedly looking for financial support for his reelection.

The New York Times reported that Donald Trump met with Musk and several affluent Republican contributors on Sunday. Trump is reportedly seeking to speak with the CEO of SpaceX "one-on-one."

The owner-executive chairman of X, formerly Twitter, however, made it clear on his microblogging platform that he will not be supporting the Democrats or Republicans in the next US Presidential elections.

"Just to be super clear, I am not donating money to either candidate for US President," Musk stated in a post.

Trump's personal wealth has recently suffered as a result of verdicts in two separate defamation trials and a civil fraud action in New York. A story from the New York Times claims that Trump is currently looking for donations for his presidential campaign.

Nikki Haley withdrew her longshot challenge to Trump earlier on Wednesday, guaranteeing that he will be the Republican Party's nominee when he faces Biden again in November.

In order to offset Joe Biden's Democratic Party in the US midterm elections in 2022, Musk urged voters to choose a Republican Congress.

The billionaire acknowledged that he supported Joe Biden in the 2020 election, despite his long-standing attempts to portray himself as "politically independent." But since then, Musk has clashed with the Biden administration and attacked the US President.

Elon Musk's mother accused Joe Biden in December of last year of "standing in the way" of the billionaire's plans to improve the world. Prior to that, in November, the White House called a tweet that Musk had sent "abhorrent."

Additionally, Musk declared that he would never support Biden again.
