Another person claimed on social media that 3 submarine cables were cut in the Red Sea between Jeddah and Djibouti. All other IP based services destined for Europe, other regions are automatically rerouted through SEACOM alternate channels on Equiano, PEACE, WACS cable systems, the report said.

Israeli financial news website Globes published a detailed report on the damage to four submarine cables. This suggests connections to the Houthis and their maritime attacks in the Red Sea over the past three months.
